Welcome to embrace the transformative power of Mercury in the historic city of Idrija, a place steeped in its alchemical legacy. We warmly invite you to our international gathering from June 26th to 30th, 2026. Following the success of last European event in Macedonia in October 2024, which marked a joyful reunion after the challenges of Covid, this gathering will be hosted by the Slovenian O.T.O..

Idrija offers a profound experience, not in ostentatious luxury, but in the sublime and sacred embrace of nature’s core. Here, the spirit can purify, the body can rest, and the soul can unite with the divine through an alchemical and spiritual unity of human consciousness, knowledge, and nature.

Since the town of Idrija is known worldwide for its historic mercury mine, we have decided to go with that symbolism and make the Sphere of Mercury the main theme of our event. The principal idea behind such gathering is to bring together the various active national and local bodies and members of the O. T. O., thus on one hand to facilitate good relationships, cooperation and a healthy exchange of views, ideas and experience beyond what social media and long-distance communications have to offer, and on the other hand to generate, if possible, a vision for better future cooperation among bodies and members of the O. T. O. in Europe and perhaps worldwide.

Our current focus will be mostly on Europe for practical reasons. Among others, we would like to have speakers here in person and available for people to talk to them after they had presented their views and ideas and we do not have the budget to pay for anyone's travels or lectures.

As mentioned, we are interested in Mercurian topics, but above all we would like to know more about the experience of the O. T. O. in countries where our Order is present. Historical presentations are more than welcome. Interactive workshops are also welcome. Ritual performers are wanted for rituals such as the Gnostic Mass, the Eleusian ritual of Mercury, and so on. At least for the latter two an international team will have to be organized in case a national one cannot be found. We are also interested in rituals that involve an active participation of all participants. Organisers of morning yoga or other events not mentioned above are welcome as well. And more, whatever creative idea comes to mind, please write to us and we will see whether it can be done.
